| Only once every four years? |
Well, happy "blame it all on Julius Caesar" Monday, y'all.
Jump for joy we all got an extra day to get it right. It's kinda like one big 24 hour daylight savings time day, ya know? ( I figure that out with common core math! )
And, it is a rather "upscale" Sadie Hawkins Day, of sorts, because folklore has it that today, once every four years on this day, 'da womens get to propose to 'da mens! Supposedly, St. Brigit ( who knew? ) presented St. Patrick with the concept, over a couple of green brews, as a way to balance the traditional roles of men and women in a similar way to how leap day balances the calendar.
